This three-piece coupling makes it possible for a 1" female screw coupling to be connected to a 1" male screw coupling. The advantage is that these screw couplings can be connected without needing to completely rotate one of the two end bits. This makes it ideal, for example, for connecting your pump to an existing piping system or when connecting a pump control system such as the DAB Control-D.
