👉 Check Latest PriceSaniflo Descaler was developed by SFA to adequately maintain Saniflo macerators. It cleans and descales your macerator, thereby extending its life. Depending on the hardness of the tap water, Saniflo SFA recommends descaling your macerator three to four times a year. Why descale the Saniflo? All macerators are fitted with a membrane, a kind of bag / fleece that is able to detect whether the macerator is full enough to be activated. Every macerator model has a different activation level. With the Saniflo, the membrane comes into contact with fluid, and is therefore subject to a build-up of limestone. This is why the membrane needs to be descaled. How does it work? Switch off the power supply to the SANIFLO®, pour 2.5 litres of SANIFLO® Special Descaler into the toilet or waste-water pump, and let it soak for several hours. Reconnect the macerator and rinse / flush it twice, after which it will be ready for further use.
