This gives you control over which birds you feed (potentially reducing your spend on food as the greedier bigger birds are kept out) and gives the smaller birds a dedicated space just for them. Another major advantage of the Tilburg is that the food is contained within the feeder meaning far less food or husks fall to the ground. This results in less mess and also less risk of attracting unwanted pests. Filling this feeder is very easy. Remove the roof at the top and fill the feeder with a feed mix up to about one centimetre below the entrance opening.
