This allows for top ‘n’ tail placement and reduces the finished width. The rod tails are easily located into Velcro removable butt holders, which can also be secured onto the sections thanks to a locking draw cord. However, it is the simple but clever application of thicker foam within the lid, which not only softly secures and keeps the rods in place but offers added cushion for protection. For transport and handling we have applied interlocking carry handles, a removable padded shoulder strap and ‘grab’ loop strap for pulling forward or loading up more easily.
