Product details

Peony ‘Canary Brilliants’ is a vibrant Itoh hybrid that adds a cheerful splash of colour to any garden. Its semi-double blooms open in a captivating blend of soft yellow and apricot tones, with hints of pink that deepen as the flowers mature. Measuring up to 20 cm across, these large, lightly fragrant blooms appear in late spring to early summer, brightening borders, beds, and cutting gardens with their radiant hues.. This variety stands out for its sturdy stems, which hold the blooms upright without drooping, even after rain. The lush, dark green foliage provides a handsome backdrop and remains attractive throughout the season. Like all Itoh hybrids, ‘Canary Brilliants’ combines the longevity and disease resistance of herbaceous peonies with the exotic colours and flower power of tree peonies.. We supply the highest quality bare root peony roots with 3–5 eyes, ensuring vigorous growth and prolific flowering. Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded location, positioning the crown 2.5–5 cm below the soil surface. Regular watering and a layer of mulch will help this peony thrive for years to come.. Newly planted peonies seldom make a first-class show in their first season, instead reaching the top of their form in their second or third year.. Learn more about how to grow peonies.
