The Guillaume Aurele Merlot is produced by the Alma Cersius cooperative, in the southern Occitanie region of France. The Merlot vines are planted and grown on the warmest part of their vineyard, on free-draining limestone clay and large pebble soil which helps to reflect the heat and light back onto the vines. This gives the wine its deliciously refreshing taste as it enables the grapes to reach full maturity. This mouth-watering new fruity red wine is the newest addition to our merlot collection, one of our highest-selling varieties. This incredible winemaker tastes the berries they produce directly on the vineyard to allow the aromatic profile to be tested and ensure that they are harvested at the optimum time, meaning that your merlot is packed with flavour.
