A ripe, generous Cotes du Rhone from an estate in the Donzere area of the southern Rhone that has been in the hands of the Aubert family since 1962. It is a classic blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah. The late ripening Grenache, which is well suited to the warm southern Rhone, provides the perfect foundation for the addition of the full-bodied, spicy Syrah grape. Tasting Notes An inviting nose of ripe strawberries with hints of blueberry. Bramble fruit and blackcurrant notes on the palate with some peppery spice on the finish. Good with grilled meat or a beef casserole. Region France
