From November to March, Viburnum x bodnantense 'Charles Lamont' provides excellent winter color with pretty pink, heavily scented flowers borne on bare stems. Cut some of these stems and display them in a vase indoors. With maturity, the dark pink blooms of this viburnum will fade to white. Although the blooms are nearly sterile, you may see a few small, round, purple berries in the summer. By autumn, the plant's foliage has turned vibrant shades of orange and yellow.
