The leaves emerge blush pink in spring, remaining pink throughout summer, before turning fiery red in the autumn and winter. The following season, a fresh display of bright pink leaves emerges from mature green foliage. In July, the foliage display plays host to delicate white flowers that are followed by small red berries.
