Located in Burgundy, in the heart of the southern Côte de Beaune, Domaine Henri Boillot is a family winery dating back to 1885, and has been developing since the early 20th century. Henri, who gave the estate its name, arrived in 1975, acquiring his siblings' shares and building the winery at the foot of the Meursault hill. Today, the estate, which extends across approximately 19 hectares of vineyards, is managed by Guillaume and produces a variety of high-quality red and white Burgundy wines. The Chardonnay grapes come from various villages in the Côte de Beaune. After harvesting and vinification, the wine ages in barrels (20% new) for 10-12 months. The Meursault Domaine Henri Boillot has a clear and brilliant straw-yellow color with greenish highlights. On the nose, it reveals a broad and fragrant aromatic profile with fruity notes of apricot, yellow peach, and mirabelle plum, against a background of buttery and vanilla notes. On the palate, it is round and generous, with a velvety texture and a pleasant minerality. It is fresh and medium-bodied with a long, saline finish. It pairs perfectly with white meats.
