Product details

Drink it now or cellar for up to 10 years. No need to decant but best to open it half an hour before service. Founded in the 1980s by Bernard Boisson, Pierre's father, Domaine Boisson is a family estate today managed by Pierre and his sister Anne. In 2017, following their father's retirement, the two siblings modernized the cellar. In addition to producing wines under the family label, they each independently manage a portion of the vineyards for their own lines. The Bourgogne Murgey de Limozin is an elegant white wine made from Chardonnay grapes grown on plots on the edge of the Meursault appellation in the Côte de Beaune. Here, the region's typical clay-limestone soils produce expressive wines with a strong mineral character, capable of evolving beautifully over the years. Pierre Boisson's manual labor in the vineyard adds even greater attention to ensuring his wines are a refined interpretation of the terroir. In the glass, the wine reveals a straw-yellow color with light golden highlights. Its aromatic profile is fragrant and expressive, with initial notes of white and yellow fruit, citrus and floral notes, and a mineral and toasted hazelnut undertone. On the palate, it is rounded and smooth, juicy and fresh, with a pronounced acidity and the typical minerality of the great Burgundy whites. The finish is long and reveals slightly toasted notes. It is excellent with oysters, grilled white fish, and Brie cheese.
