Product details

Drink it now or cellar for up to 8 years. No need to decant. Founded in 1919, Maison Pierre Peters is situated in the Côte des Blancs, in Mesnil-sur-Oger, south of Épernay. Renowned for its high-quality Blanc de Blancs champagnes, the company has been family-run for six generations and owns approximately 19 hectares of vineyards that benefit from the region's exceptional limestone hillside terroir. The Cuvée Réserve Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is produced from a blend of over 20 vintages. The Chardonnay grapes are all selected and harvested from various villages in the Côte des Blancs. Vinification takes place in small vats, and the wines are then aged on the fine lees. These processes ensure the production of a wine that fully expresses the richness of its terroir, preserving the typical character of Chardonnay. In the glass, the wine presents a clear and brilliant appearance, with a golden hue and subtle greenish highlights, and a persistent and fine perlage. Its aromatic profile is broad and fragrant, with floral, citrus, and white fruit notes, followed by hints of almond and fresh bread. On the palate, the wine has a creamy texture. It is fresh, rounded, and fruity, with a pleasant minerality and an elegant and lingering finish that recalls delicate citrus notes. Try it with scallop risotto, tagliatelle with vegetables, or fish tempura.
