Product details

Drink it now or cellar for up to 15 years. It is recommended to decant it for an hour. The American Andrew Will Winery is located in Washington State and was founded by Chris Camarda in the late 1980s. Production focuses on Bordeaux blends from grapes grown in the estate's vineyards. The winery, among the most renowned in the state, is now run by Chris and his son Will. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are sourced from the 30-acre Two Blondes vineyard, located in Zillah, Washington, in the Yakima Valley AVA. Here, the 25-year-old vines are rooted in silty clay soils. After vinification, the wine ages for 20 months in French oak (half of which is new). The result is an extremely elegant and distinctive wine. On the nose, it reveals an intense and expansive profile that intertwines ripe notes of currant, forest berries, and dark cherry with hints of violet, aromatic herbs, and graphite. On the palate, it is deep and concentrated, powerful without being overly bold. It has a medium to full body and a smooth texture. The finish is long, warm, and complex with hints of tobacco. You can cellar it for a few years to discover its evolution, or open a bottle now with a beef brisket.
