Drink it now or cellar for up to 15 years. No need to decant but best to open it half an hour before service. Originally known as Cave des Hautes-Côtes, Nuiton-Beaunoy is a cooperative winery founded in 1957 and which today brings together around 80 members and over 350 hectares of vineyards, spread across the various appellations Côte de Beaune, Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, Côte de Nuits, and Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. The Chardonnay grapes for this wine are selected and harvested from a plot of about 0.55 hectares located in the Meursault appellation, one of the most emblematic in all of Burgundy. After harvesting and pneumatic pressing, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature and the finished wine then rests on the lees in French oak barrels. In the glass, the Meursault de Nuiton-Beaunoy reveals a bright and brilliant color with golden tones and silver reflections. Its aromatic profile is broad and elegant with notes of stone fruit and ripe white fruit, melon, and citrus. On the palate, it is generous, lively, and juicy with a marked acidity and a clear mineral vein typical of the wines of this denomination. It is a balanced white with a medium body and a long and persistent finish. It works deliciously with white fish, seafood, and chicken and vegetable skewers.
