Drink it now or cellar for up to 15 years. No need to decant. The Terlano winery is a cooperative with over 140 members and 165 hectares of vineyards. Founded in 1893, this cooperative is today considered one of the most prestigious and cutting-edge in the country. It produces a wide range of wines of exceptional quality and surprising aging potential, which are widely appreciated by critics and the public. The Pinot Bianco grapes for the Riserva Vorberg come from the vineyard of the same name located in the Terlano area, and more precisely in the hamlet of Monzoccolo. After manual harvesting, fermentation takes place slowly in oak barrels and the finished wine rests in barrels on its yeasts for 1 year, before bottling. The result is an elegant and characterful wine, capable of evolving in the cellar for years. In the glass, the wine reveals a brilliant color with straw tones. Its aromatic profile is broad and complex with intense notes of fresh fruit (especially pear, apple, and pineapple), Mediterranean herbs and jasmine, and light smoky notes. On the palate, it has a soft and almost creamy texture and a marked refreshing acidity. It is fruity with a well-defined mineral vein and a long elegant and persistent finish. Pair it with Asian dishes or seafood.
