Drink it now or cellar for up to 8 years. No need to decant. Founded in 1720 in Monthelie, Burgundy, Domaine Changarnier has been a family business for several centuries, taken over in the early 2000s by the two brothers Claude and Antoine. The estate's vineyard extends over approximately 5 hectares of plots distributed across the Meursault, Monthelie, Auxey-Duresses, and Pommard appellations and is cultivated using organic farming methods. The Changarnier brothers are assisted by the oenologist Fabrice Groussin who works with a philosophy based on respect for nature to produce wines that express the typicality and diversity of the terroirs of Burgundy. The Chardonnay grapes for this Bourgogne Blanc are selected and harvested from a vineyard located in the municipality of Meursault and planted in 1992. The vines benefit from southern exposure and deep clay-loam soil. Bourgogne Blanc Les Dressoles is a soft and elegant wine with an aromatic profile that reveals delicate notes of wildflowers and apricots. On the palate, it is generous, round, and fruity with a marked acidic vein that is very refreshing and gives balance. It has a medium-light body and a long and persistent finish. It is a very food-friendly wine: try it with prawns, chicken, or snails Burgundy style.
