Drink it now or cellar for up to 10 years. No need to decant it. Château Mukhrani is an ancient Georgian estate, located about 50 km from Tbilisi, whose winemaking activity began in the late 1800s. The property was then abandoned at the time of phylloxera and subsequently renovated in the early 2000s when 102 hectares of vines were replanted. Initially inspired by the chateaux and estates of Bordeaux, today Chateau Mukhrani, one of the most prestigious wineries in the entire country, produces excellent Georgian wines in its state-of-the-art cellar. Goruli Mtsvane is a white grape variety endemic to Georgia, coming from the Kartli region, and famous for its fresh and mineral character. The grapes are selected in the estate's vineyards. In the glass, the wine is clear and bright with a straw yellow color and some greenish nuances. Its aromatic profile is broad and fresh with prominent notes of citrus and yellow apple followed by floral mineral hints. On the palate, the wine is dry, refreshing and lean, crisp and medium-bodied, with a smooth texture and a pleasant fruity concentration. It has a lively acidity and a long and mineral finish. It is the ideal wine with shellfish, white fish, and light fish soups, but it is also an excellent aperitif with vegetarian finger foods
