Drink it now or cellar for up to 5 years. No need to decant. Founded in 2018, Naberauli Wines is a Georgian winery in the village of Sadmeli in the northwestern region of Racha-Lechkhumi, an area with a thousand-year-old winemaking tradition. Here the vines can enjoy a moderate climate with a long ripening period and varied soils, where the local indigenous varieties give their best. The company focuses its production on the full expression of the region's terroirs while respecting the winemaking traditions of this incredible country considered the cradle of viticulture. Tsolikouri grapes are hand-picked from vineyards in the Lechkhumi region, on south-facing slopes. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, after a short maceration phase, and the wine then rests on the lees for 2 months. This elegant dry white wine has a vibrant character. It is lively and fresh, with a broad and fruity aromatic profile with notes of pear and tropical fruit, stone fruit, and ripe citrus, intertwined with hints of freshly cut grass and light buttery nuances. On the palate, it has a light body and a delicious concentration of fruit. It is thirst-quenching and juicy, crisp and zippy. It has a fresh, lingering finish. Try it chilled as an aperitif with seafood and fish-based finger foods. It is also excellent with Thai mango chicken curry.
