Trees crop late in the season from October to November, and the fruit will store until January. Pear 'Doyenne du Comice' is widely regarded as one of the most flavoursome dessert varieties available. The large, sweet fruits have a melt-in-the-mouth texture of the highest quality. Fruits are ready for picking from early October and will store through to December.Pear ‘Grafted Patio Duo’ has been grafted onto a dwarf rootstock, growing to no bigger than around 1m throughout its life, making it ideal for growing in a large container on a sunny patio, terrace or courtyard.
