Watercolour Seaweed Prints and Art Beautiful wall art prints created from monochrome watercolour paintings of seaweed pressings. Each watercolour art was created using only one colour paint, indigo blue on watercolour paper. Completed in our Beach House Art studio, the paintings were then scanned in high-definition and colour matched to ensure the print will be exactly the same colour and tone as the original, watercolour artwork. This painting is of a specimen called Dulse. A flat red species of seaweed that grows to 50cm (20") in length and to 30mm to 80mm (1.25" to 3.1") wide. The blade, or leaf texture varies from leathery to membranous and is purplish to brownish-red in colour.
