This hardy perennial is a classic white Anemone, which is an improved version of the much-loved ?Honorine Jobert?. Anemone x hybrida 'Andrea Atkinson' blooms from August to October, making it perfect for bridging the gap as summer flowers are beginning to fade and the autumn blooms haven't emerged yet. Boasting large, single to semi-double, saucer-like blooms with yellow anthers that surround a green central button. The flowers measure 6cm across and wave gracefully on tall stems, and the backs of the petals are sometimes flushed with green and pink. An excellent choice for tricky, shady spots where the crisp white flowers will really stand out. Anemone x hybrida 'Andrea Atkinson' will form spreading clumps and combines particularly well with asters and aconitum for a superb display from late summer to autumn. Height: 80cm (32in). Spread: 50cm (20in).
