Aptly named the Common Cotton Grass, Eriophorum angustifolium produces clumps of grassy foliage that bears fluffy white flower heads, similar to cotton wool balls, in summer. This hardy evergreen perennial is native to Britain and is ideal for boggy ericaceous soils, providing excellent cover for wildlife at pond edges. Height: 45cm (18). Spread: 100cm (39).
