The Samyang 16mm T2.2 ED AS UMC CS II VDSLR is a compact and fully manually adjustable lens with a field of view of 67.6 degrees. The lens is equipped with a toothed ring that allows you to use a follow-up focus system without any additional tools, allowing for smooth focus adjustment. The aperture ring works smoothly and silently, allowing for very comfortable and effective control of sharpness or depth of field while filming.The lens comprises thirteen lens elements divided into eleven groups, including one hybrid aspherical lens, one glass aspheric lens and one extra-layer dispersion lens. The aspherical lens elements minimise chromatic aberrations for exceptional image quality and high contrast across the entire frame, even when the aperture is fully open. The extra-low-dispersion lens element prevents glare and ghosts. Samyang's Ultra Multi Coating ensures even light transmission and reduces the appearance of lens flares and ghost images.
