This compact, evergreen shrub is an excellent choice for container gardening on patios, offering vibrant foliage that complements summer blooms and adds a splash of colour during the dull winter months. Commonly called the Mirror Plant due to its glossy, reflective leaves, Coprosma repens 'Eclipse' features small, dark purple leaves with striking pink edges that intensify in hue as the season progresses. Thriving in warm, sunny, and sheltered spots, it forms a bushy, rounded shape, making it perfect for the front of shrub borders or as a low hedge. Its tolerance to salt spray makes it an ideal selection for coastal gardens. In areas prone to frost, it's best grown in a container that can be moved to a frost-free location during winter.
