When Danish adventurer and businessman René Kaerskov parachuted into the Arctic in 2008, he had no idea that his descent would spark a new era. As he approached the most northerly point of the globe, Kaerskov was awestruck by the simple beauty and infinite white expanse of the seemingly endless ice sheets. Taking inspiration from this fateful moment, Kaerskov decided to develop a watch brand that would be as pure, clear and stunningly serene as the Arctic itself – Bering watches was born.   Not just content with reflecting the Arctic in the brand’s design, Bering also seeks to protect it through both their Solar collection and support of animal welfare organization Polar Bears International. Powered by any kind of light and capable of running for 6 to 12 months once fully charged, the Solar collection is clean manufacturing and signature Bering design at its finest.   An original and striking take on the classic sports chronograph, this Bering Solar Men’s Chronograph (34440-702) teams a black dial that contains contrasting white sub dials with a stainless steel case and three-row stainless steel bracelet
