ABOUT THE WINEIn 1991, Peter Weimer gave up corporate life in Switzerland and moved to Piedmont, purchasing Cascina Ebreo. They released their first vintage in 1996, and have since won great acclaim for their unusual, expressive wines.TASTING NOTESA dry, skin-contact white wine made from the perfumed and aromatic Muscat grape. The skin-contact method, similar to red wine making imports deeper colour and flavour and gives this wine a brilliant golden straw yellow colour with a rich & aromatic nose. With notes of honeysuckle, lychee, stone fruit and aniseed. The palate offers complex, tart & mouth-watering saline minerality with juicy notes of loquats, Valencia oranges and a lingering finish. An adventurously delicious wine!. FOOD PAIRINGOily fish like smoked mackerel with dill mayo or grilled sardines with roasted tomato, garlic & thyme.
