“There were so many moments where I didn’t think it would happen again, but I just had to believe and keep chasing, and today was the best race I could have possibly had”. The British Grand Prix was the greatest race of the season, and it was won by none other than Sir Lewis Hamilton. This instant modern classic will go down in history for many reasons, and you need to remember this moment with a print of Hamilton as he presents himself to his loyal subjects – as the “King of Great British GP” - having just won his home race for a record-breaking 9th time. Lewis Hamilton jumped on the F1 scene 17 years ago, and immediately launched a challenge for the 2007 World Driver’s Championship, whilst fate prevented him from become the first ever rookie World Champion (except for, 1950 Champion, Farina) he still became the youngest Champion-ever the season following. Over the next few years Hamilton would amass 21 race wins with McLaren before jumping to Mercedes for 2013.
