The Airtronic 2 has an potential service life of 5000 hours. Of course this depends on installation and how the unit is used. It is advised you have your Eberspacher serviced annually to ensure your heater is working as efficiently as possible! Automatic Altitude Adjustment. Altitude adjustment will be automatically handled by the Eberspacher Airtronic 2 up to 3000m above sea level; no additional altitude kit is required, the AS2 has an integrated altitude sensor. OBD On-board diagnostics with the EasyStart PRO. Fault display via the Easy Start PRO. The Airtronic S2 coupled with an Easy Start PRO will give a text-based fault description, reducing confusion and saving time diagnosing the issue. CAN, LIN & S+. The new Airtronic S2 includes Eberspacher CAN bus technology, giving users the opportunity to operate the unit via CAN-based controllers like the EasyStart PRO and EasyStart Web. The EasyStart PRO has many advantages including, Timers, Text-based fault readouts and external temperature sensing. The LIN interface is for previous generation EasyStart Controllers like the EasyStart Remote+ and EasyStart Select. The S+ interface can be used when the user wants to use a mini-controller or other Eberspacher analog switching source.
