Commonly known as the 'Mile a Minute' plant due to its vigorous growth rate, this towering woody climber will swiftly smother walls and fences, thriving in sun or shade and any soil type. Fallopia baldschuanica produces a mass of heart-like foliage and in August and September bears a profusion of airy panicles of tiny white blooms, tinged with pink. Please note this Russian Vine can be invasive so its planting position should be chosen carefully. Maximum height: 1200cm (39ft). Maximum spread: 800cm (26ft).
