Potentilla atrosanguinea var. argyrophylla

20

Potentilla atrosanguinea var. argyrophylla is clump-forming, producing low, mounds of handsome foliage with a striking silver sheen. June to August sees golden blooms emerge with coral eyed centres, in large quantities too. Each leaf of the silver foliage divides into three distinct lobes, with a fine form and shape. Hardy and resilient, Potentilla atrosanguinea var. argyrophylla is a perennial that tolerates bad soils. Ideal ground cover in borders, alpine gardens and rockeries. Height and spread: 50cm (20).
