Mahonia Volcano is a striking variety, known for its vibrant, fiery flowers and graceful foliage. Blooming early, its coppery-red buds open from October to November, transitioning into golden yellow blossoms that create a stunning display of orange and yellow hues. Like the award-winning Mahonia Soft Caress, Volcano features the same soft, slender leaflets with no spines, emerging bronze in spring and maturing to a silvery-green colour. This compact shrub grows to only about 70cm tall, making it an ideal choice for smaller gardens. Low-maintenance, disease-resistant, and hardy, it thrives in both sun and partial shade and adapts well to various soil types.
