Wallbarn's M-Tray Modular Sedum Wildflower Green Roof makes it easy to transform flat roofs or decks into green spaces. It includes a variety of seeds reaching 50-80cm, attracting bees and butterflies. Seeds are mixed with coir for easy germination. Pre-grown vegetation is nurtured for six months in UK trays, ensuring strong roots. Green roofs require annual upkeep, such as deadheading and weed removal. New seeds are needed each spring for blooms from spring to late summer. Modules are portable, clip together easily, and require no expert installation. Each tray is 500mm x 500mm x 100mm; four trays cover 1m. A geotextile fleece should be placed under trays to prevent soil deposits in drainage. Wildflowers bloom in warmer months; a sedum-only option offers year-round coverage. Annual flowers may take years to germinate, while perennials bloom late summer.
