Protecto-Drain 8 is a dimpled HPDE membrane, also known as FIN DRAIN or CAVITY DRAIN, for foundation walls, basements, and waterproofed structures. It protects against mechanical damage and creates an air gap, forming a drainage channel for groundwater to pass into a sump or channel. This prevents hydrostatic pressure within structural layers and reduces puncture and damp risks. Lightweight and easy to install, it's cost-effective. Uses include waterproofing basements, road construction, sports field drainage, erosion control, gas dispersion, abutment drainage, half-buried walls, and retaining walls. Installation involves positioning the sheet against walls overlapping by 20cm. Cups face the structure underside; use PROTECTO-TAPE to bond sheets. Clout nails, bolt guns, or battens can secure the sheets. Fill voids with free-draining aggregate. Ensure the membrane's top protrudes above backfill level. Box contains 100 buttons..
