The Wallbarn 6mm Protecto-Mat Rubber Crumb Protection Membrane is an eco-friendly barrier made from recycled rubber crumbs. It is easy to install on various surfaces due to its 950kg/m density and flexible, lightweight roll design. Its primary function is to protect waterproofing membranes, whether synthetic or bituminous, from damage like abrasion, point loads, and blunt objects. The membrane is durable enough for concrete pours and direct hot material application, significantly extending the lifespan of the membranes it protects. It's ideal for podium decks, green roofs, inverted roofs, frequently used areas, and underground applications such as basements, foundation walls, and tunnels. The rubber crumb is bound with polyurethane resins for added strength against environmental factors.
