Likely to be hung in exposed locations without porch protection, all edges, faces, and cut outs must be sealed before installation. Regular maintenance ensures performance and appearance. If trimming is needed, reduce equally from both sides: up to 6mm for doors with 10mm lipping or more, and 3mm for 6mm lipping. Trimming over 6mm for fire doors invalidates the FD30 rating. We recommend using three hinges for increased rigidity and strength. All untreated products must be fully sealed before hanging, including tops, bottoms, and recesses for hinges, locks, handles, and letter plates.
