The DuPont Plantex Platinum is a high-performance weed barrier made from strong, tear-resistant, & durable non-woven materials. It effectively resists aggressive weeds like Japanese knotweed, horsetail, bamboo, Himalayan balsam & more. This barrier maintains permeability to air & water, preventing trapped moisture & condensation that could lead to mould & soil degradation. The soil temperature remains unaffected, minimizing the greenhouse effect. Plantex Platinum is easy to install by simply rolling out & covering the surface. Its tear-resistant fabric won’t propagate larger tears, even when intentionally cut, making it ideal for large projects at 5m wide. Jointing is easily done by taping or welding. DuPont's Research & Development team has tested this product for several years, with no fabric perforation or regrowth observed. Proper installation means no maintenance is required.
