Marvel at the captivating, bubblegum-pink double blooms that burst from the large, round buds of Tree Peony 'Tao Hong Fei Cui' in spring. There aren't many plants that can rival the sheer beauty of a tree peony in full bloom! Mature plants can bear more than a hundred flowers that each measure up to 25cm (10) in diameter! These magnificent hardy shrubs show excellent disease resistance and will flower every year for a lifetime. The tropical-looking blooms of the tree peony are truly spectacular in sunny to semi-shaded borders and make superb cut flowers for indoor vase displays. Height and spread: 150cm (60). Culinary note: The petals can be added to salads, or cooked slightly and sweetened for a treat. Peony water was also once considered a delicacy and the blooms can be floated in punches.
