Hibiscus syriacus 'French Cabaret Purple'

14

Hibiscus are among the most vibrant and exotic of all hardy deciduous shrubs, and the French Cabaret series takes them to a whole new level. Known for their large, densely ruffled pompom blooms that resemble double carnations, these stunning flowers are sterile, channeling all their energy into producing a continuous display from July to October. The flowers are self-cleaning, naturally dropping off as they fade and making way for fresh buds. Hibiscus syriacus French Cabaret Purple features striking dark purple buds that unfurl into delicate lavender-purple flowers. Easy to grow in well-drained soils, this variety is also tolerant of chalky conditions and becomes drought-resistant once established. With its upright growth habit, it?s ideal for use as a border shrub, a container plant, or an informal hedge. Expected height: 2.5m (8ft); spread: 1.5m (5ft). Since the height and spread can vary with the seasons, we list plants by pot size rather than a fixed measurement. The size of the plant upon delivery will depend on the time of year, so the images shown are for reference only.
