Pernod Ricard Portugal - MACIEIRA AGUARDENTE VÍNICA XO

243

Medium amber colour. Complex, baked plum, prune and fallen leaf nose. Dry, well balanced, slightly spicy, lively, plummy, sandalwood flavours with a wink of caramel. Aged for at least 10 years in new French Limousin oak. This is produced from a careful selection of Portuguese brandies that have been aged for a minimum of 10 years in new French oak barrels. The resulting eau-de-vie is velvety and smooth with vibrant aromas of tropical fruit, caramel and toast. An excellent alternative to cognac.
