Pellaea rotundifolia

13

This award-winning evergreen fern has an unusual foliage pattern and elegant, cascading habit. Pellaea rotundifolia produces fronds measuring up to 25cm in length, with slender pink-flushed stems decorated with pairs of glossy, deep green leaflets. This tender fern can be grown outside during the summer, or all year round in a home or conservatory. The ribbons of button-like foliage form low, cascading rosettes which look particularly attractive cascading over the sides of a trough, tumbling from a kitchen windowsill, or creeping through a terrarium. Height and spread: 40cm (16in).
