This elegant evergreen fern produces flat, leathery, blue-green foliage and is easily distinguished from the feather-like fronds of other Dryopteris. Dryopteris lepidopoda is handy for woodland borders and creeping over rocks, offering an eye-catching textural contrast to other varieties in a fern collection.
