Rhododendron 'Hachmann's Porzellan' is a Yakushimanum hybrid and makes an excellent specimen shrub that blends wonderfully with other spring flowering varieties. The branches form an attractive dome, smothered in deep, evergreen leaves with velvet-like undersides. Dainty, soft-pink buds burst open in May to reveal white, bell-like flowers decorated with striking, green-gold speckles in the centre. Perfect for rockeries and acid borders as well as a stand-alone feature plant. Height and spread: 120cm (48).
