The Bruichladdich Octomore Edition: 10.1 matures for five years in fist-fill American oak barrels. The ageing is 100% on the island of Islay. Only Scottish barley is used for the production. Filling is carried out without cold filtration and dye. Phenol content: 107 ppm Distilled: 2013 There are a total of 42,000 bottles of this bottling.Tasting notes:Colour: Pale gold. Nose: Smoky, vanilla, caramel, candied apples, gooseberries, marzipan. Taste: Dry, soft, strong, pepper, barley sugar, warm sand, charred oak, pineapple. Finish: Long lasting, peat smoke, salty.
