The Kentucky Owl Confiscated BOURBON Whiskey is produced in the Kentucky Owl Distillery in the USA.The distillery was founded in 1879 by Charles Mortimer Dedman.Due to prohibition, which prohibited the production, sale and transportation of alcohol, Kentucky Owl was closed.The whiskey was confiscated by the government and taken to a warehouse for storage - but the warehouse mysteriously burned down with all the good whiskey.Dixon Deman, the great-grandson of Charles, took the fate of his family into his own hands and made it his goal to revive his family history.The Straight Bourbon Whiskey Batch No. 9 has 63,8 Vol.% and is therefore the highest percentage bottling of Ketucky Owl.Tasting notes:Colour: Amber.Nose: fresh, fruity, spicy, apples, white grapes, cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup, oak.Taste: Very strong, creamy, fruity, honey, citrus, caramel, oak wood.Finish: Long lasting, intense.
