The Hunter Laing & Company Ltd offers not only fantastic blended Scotch Whiskies, but also a rum range, which is called "Kill Devil Single Cask Rum". The Kill Devil Single Cask Rum series includes bottlings from the Caribbean, which are bottled in selected single casks. The name "Kill Devil" is derived from the locally produced distillates, the Caribbean islanders, from the 17th and 18th century. These were in fact called "devil killers". This Kill Devil Single Cask Rum is bottled at the Enmore Distillery in Guyana after a maturation of 24 years without colourings and cold filtration. Limited to 338 bottles worldwide!Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: slightly sweet, vanilla, hints of mushrooms, spices. Taste: Bourbon, vanilla, notes of mushrooms, mushrooms, hints of herbs.
