For 20 years William Grant had the dream of making "the best whisky in the valley". With the help of his family he finally made his dream come true in the summer of 1886. Glenfiddich is Gaelic and means "valley of the stags". Glenfiddich Rare Oak has carved out the unique aromas and flavours of 25 years of making whiskies at the distillery. The 25 year old Glenfiddich matures in European oak sherry casks and in American oak bourbon casks.Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: Rich, deep, fruity, vanilla, hints of spices.
