This gin has its roots on the rough Costa Vicentina in southwest Portugal and is the only gin distilled and handmade in the Altonaer-Spirituosen-Manufaktur. The Fogo do Sul was inspired by the Indian state of Goa. The distillers of Gin Sul made their way to India to find the best spices and botanicals. As you can see, they found what they were looking for! Botanicals: juniper, mango, roasted cumin, coriander seed, chili, ginger, kradamom, hot timut pepper, lemon peel, orange peel, Ceylon cinnamon. The gin is filled by hand into the typical white clay bottle, which protects the delicate aromas and the gin from light and temperature fluctuations. The bottle motif was designed by the Hamburg tattoo artist Tobias Tietchen. The colourful wooden caps were made in Portugal. Limited to 6,000 bottles! The Gin Sul Fogo do Sul is offered with differently coloured caps. The selection of the caps is random!Tasting notes:Color: Clear. Nose: Notes of chilli, cardamom, coriander, cumin, lemon peel.
