A spectacular deciduous tree with a large pyramidal crown. In spring, Liriodendron tulipifera 'Aureomarginatum' produces unusual shaped variegated leaves with eye-catching golden edges. As we head further into summer, the leaves become green-yellow and in autumn will change to a wonderful golden colour. This award-winning hardy tree can take up to 10 years to flower but when it does, it boasts large, tulip-like blooms in July, giving it its better-known name of the Tulip Tree. An excellent specimen tree for parklands, large gardens and woodland areas. Height: 17m (55?). Spread: 12m (39?).
