Despite its small size, Agapanthus 'Blue Thunder' does not skimp on display. The flowers are a deep, inky blue colour that open from mysterious buds and are held on durable stems above strap-like leaves. This hardy, evergreen agapanthus is a low-maintenance perennial. Once formed, it will withstand drought and heat to provide a consistent and long-flowering performance from midsummer to autumn. It's a delightful specimen for a balcony or terrace pot, where its leaves provide foliage attention even before the flowers bloom. It is also brilliant for smaller borders or edging larger borders, and well-suited to coastal or dry environments.
