Our Onion, Garlic and Shallot Collection contains a versatile selection of white, red and shallot onions along with garlic to keep your cupboards stocked with these easy to grow vegetables throughout next summer and winter. The collection comprises: Onion ‘Troy’ - Producing slightly flattened globes with good colour and flavour. This very hardy onion will grow happily through a soggy British winter and has good resistance to bolting and disease. (500g). Onion ‘Electric’ - An overwintering variety producing shiny, red skinned, semi globe-shaped bulbs with crisp, pink-tinged flesh (500g). Onion 'Senshyu' - This reliable main crop produces good yields of semi-flat bulbs with straw yellow skins. (250g). Shallot ‘Longor’ - Highly praised for its robust flavour and good storage potential, and will surely be a winner for the exhibitor too. (500g). Garlic 'Elephant' - The cloves are also much larger than conventional garlic with a milder taste, making it suitable for a wide choice of culinary uses, especially roasting. (5 Cloves).
